itt: weebs mad
Here’s you discussing The Outsiders:
yeah, you’re right, this is definitely not a world in which Gamer Gate is relevant at all anymore, gooooooood catch.
Sir, this is a Wendy’s.
I think this is probably the first time the show has even slightly addressed some the more toxic side of the fanbase. To which I can say kudos. I love the show and the more it steps away from the “Facts Don’t Care About Your Feelings” stuff and becomes more self-reflective the better.
You guys are awesome. It is not hyperbole to say that this site often gets me through the day. Keep up the good work, and for the love of god do not stick to sports.
Cancel culture is not actually a thing. Woody Allen still makes movies. Michael Jackson’s tour would have made a bajillion dollars had he lived to perform it. Louis CK is already doing standup again. Trump is still President.
Amazing how so many people in China know so much about what happens on Twitter, a site banned in that country. It’s enough to make one wonder if a few of these offended Chinese people are fictional.
Yes...be very careful of what you say about “black people, minorities, women etc.” in our country.
in China, Wojnarowski’s decision to like the tweet was a hot topic of conversation across social media.
You’re telling me “Woj in the House” is not a family friendly sitcom on ABC’s TGIF, and I simply don’t believe you.

Really, you just need to look at his background to see where this stuff comes from:
All of that is true, but deep in our hearts we know that the Raptors are going to blow it.
And it needs to be shouted from the rooftops again and again: This is not an unintentional consequence of FOSTA/SESTA. This was the goal. The goal was always to keep sex workers marginalized and frightened so that they could be easily abused and exploited. “Protection” was always a smokescreen. This is, and has always…
Kanye may do some ridiculous things as a public persona, but I actually appreciate his creativity and I don’t think his music or his performances are ridiculous. I find him interesting and creative.
Hey, guess what, cars are also not a necessity.
I spent too many years riding bikes in the city to put up with that shit. My immediate response would have been to smash his side mirror off. Fuck you. Go ahead and try and catch me in a car downtown.
