Alfa romeo crosswagon. Yeah, I too thought it would break every other week, but ended being one of most reliable cars I’ve owned. Not sure if one can buy it in the States.

New V90 XC looks as if it had twice the ground clerance of this... being an estate.
For the life of me, I just can’t find all those break over and approach angles in these photos.
Camel trophy, anyone?
V90 XC is the new king of lifted wagons. 21 cm of ground clearance, I can’t believe they actually jacked it up so much. Merc with its 16 cm stands no chance. Only thing to make me consider it, would be 6.3 V12, or supercharged V8. OTOH volvo will be probably available in T8 trim.
I’m really curious as to what part did break right at the beginning. Looks either like an exhaust, or some undercarriage.
Probably just hatch removed.
As to the translation, it goes along the lines of “Unwise, very unwise. Batshit crazy, man”. Witk ‘kurwa’ as a punctuation mark.
“It’s just that every possible design decision made on this car is somehow the absolute worst decision you could make”
Buy an old volvo. Or audi B80. They don’t tend to rust, unless they were damaged.
Subaru SVX is a great car, so it doesn’t count.
XM, V6, automatic, preferably estate.
I’ve had very similiar fiat 125p and driven ladas on a few occasions. They are every bit as bad, as they look. Terrible cars.
O kurwa...
Yah, well... what about steering this thing? You know, turning left and right. Without friction this will be hardly possible.
I’d like to see giulia crosswagon. They did good job with 156 one:
Sbarro.
Anyway, on to the topic at hand, which is: what's the perfect car for a teenager? This is a brilliant question, and I'd like to begin by describing the vehicle that I owned as a teenager. It was a 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo; a brick-shaped midsize sedan, saddled with a four-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive,…
Will a conventional website ever be able to serve longer-form content in a way that replicates your favourite magazine? I don't believe it will. Its best chance was through the tablet, but that can now be called a failure and the whole concept of people ditching paper for pixels seems to have ground to a halt. Sales…
I did, sort of. Same cars, same track, my father-in-law using all season and I winter tires. Winter tires light years ahead in grip. Conditions: forest trails with compacted snow.
