It still needs to be driven home though. This is an experience that, unlike a Dead Cells or Hades, can be messed up by some bad bugs. We’ve been treated to some very smooth Early Access periods lately, but it’s important to remind people that not all games turn out this way.

Avowed, Fable, InExile Game, Starfield, Elder Scolls 6, Everwild.

Chris Avellone is a bit overrated. People give him all the credit for PST but he was just one of several writers on that game. He’s actually worked on a bunch of games (including PoE and ToN), none of which are held in such high regard as PST.

I feel the same about most of those games as you, though I enjoyed the PoE and Wasteland games quite a bit as well. They weren’t perfect but I can’t think of a single CRPG that is. I think Obsidian and inXile are entirely capable of making a worthwhile Fallout RPG. Definitely more qualified than BGS.

You’re forgetting Microsoft also had Inxile, headed by Brian Fargo, who has gone on record as saying should Inxile and Obsidian not be busy on a project, he’d be up for a collaboration. Think about that now.

It has taken me this many episodes to categorize this show: it’s a parable with science fiction trappings.

I’m sorry for commenting. I’ll abstain in the future. I understand I am not consuming the site correctly.

This show is such a disappointment. The first episode was hot shit and had me at 93% full chubb. The second episode I was down to 89% chubb. And each episode after has had diminishing returns that have in turn progressively reduced my chubb. I wish i could say I was even half chub after these episodes. But im not. Im

Couldn’t get past episode 2, but agree that Father is the best character. An android dad who tells dad jokes. Basically the only good idea on the show.

It’s time for a second, much less interesting Golden Age of Piracy.

The opening 2 minutes literally explain that the rich and powerful destroyed the earth’s climate and then retreated onto their ark. It sounds to me your views on class and privilege need a massive reality check.

Was that Sean Bean’s voice during the “Mr. Wilford” voiceover-scenes, or am I high? It totally sounded like him, and we know that Bean is officially joining the main cast in the upcoming second season too:

Wow.  Your description of the tailies (aka lower class) is ... troubling.  I don’t think I would want you in charge of who gets a ticket to the post-dystopian ark.

Solo was trash, Rogue One is great. The Mandalorian did nothing in 8 minutes except give us a competent, but average fight scene.

Seemed like a pretty obvious swipe at right wing white guys who get mad at media that doesn’t share their politics and critique it by saying it’s “too political”

If you follow Dan Harmons weekly podcast (ending soon sadly!) you know he DOES care about that shit and mentions being sick of fascists and gamergate pretty often, so it’s a pretty good observation.

Yeah, except there was a reason it was Fascist Morty shouting those things.

“Stop asking questions, stop doing metacommentary.”

You’re the same as them just with a different target to rile.

Sir, this is a Wendy’s.
