The allure of a pre-built machine is the convenience and tech support ie: responsibility of it working is on someone else rather than on you (or a buddy).

The reality on the other hand means there’s proprietary parts you can’t replace yourself, software that should be updated for said parts that are no longer being

We’re never getting a proper DK that has that same feel as the SNES series. As much as I enjoyed Returns and Tropical Freeze, it doesn’t have the same feel.

Yah this pretty much sums up tier lists. I think the main problem the writer has though is that a lot of randoms look at the tier lists, doesn’t understand it, but then act as if it’s law.

This reminds me of that guy who got his head cemented into a microwave oven... well at least it wasn’t a busy road.

She always had that costume (or a variation of it) since Soul Calibur. It was in Soul Edge that she had armor on but it was “breast plate” which in my eyes is arguably worse.

Organized sports pretends there’s accountability but you have football towns that allow their football team to rape random girls with no repercussions (except for the girls who decide to be a bad sport and ruin the team by complaining about a little rape vs the rapist’s promising football career).

eSports “jocks”

There’s plenty of democratic nations in the world right now that functions just fine without the corporate corruption. The levels of corporate lobbying/corruption in the US is insanely high in comparison to other same-level developed democratic nations.

A quick cheat to figure out which ones I’m talking about usually

-“Sir, we want Lt. Kazansky fired or court martialed.”

Most of this was just “oh, of course some moron tried that”. The propane tanks definitely came out of left field for me though...

As others have already pointed out, it’s largely pointless to upgrade more than you need.

But how does this protect the gullible young adult with self-esteem issues that the lootbox targets?!?! How!?!?! Would someone think of the adult children!

One thing I like about XCOM is that civilians can die if you do nothing. I want that to be a thing in some games for.... for science!! yeah....

I know Americans hate to hear this but how are they wrong?

You usually can’t do much to Nintendo NPCs though... damn ungrateful bastards lost in the Gerudo Desert who would have died to that silver mokoblin if Link didn’t come by...

Yeah... World War Z based on the book would have been more interesting. Sure the framing device was from interviews in the book but the gameplay could still be from the actual events happening in real time. The movie, while it was somewhat enjoyable was just not as good as the book (as cliche as that sounds).

Remember that other company that had a good relationship with Nintendo but ended up being bought by Microsoft? They’re still making great games now right? I mean, Goldeneye 5 was amazing!

Joking aside, Nintendo wasn’t always as clean as their image now suggests so it’s not surprising a lot of 3rd party companies

The game went downhill for me since IV. III was just too good.

That and In the Pale Moonlight are included in my list of favourite episodes. In fact, most of the episodes I enjoyed were the ones that focuses on or otherwise involved Section 31 or Garak.

I’ve always questioned how the Federation could possibly survive with all their ideals that hamstrung them against forces that

It still looks like something for the PS2 but because it’s in HD, the shortcomings are even more obvious ie: PC ports of PS2 era games tend to suffer from this.

People assumed they didn’t like the series any more because of the lack of games. It would have been funny if they announced this when Mighty No 9 was trying to get backers, just to mess with Inafune. Though, that’s only hindsight since we didn’t know how Mighty was going to turn out, and instead we’d think they were
