The Battlegrounds mod, as well as Mount & Blade, are pretty damn fun despite the musketry. Actually, fun because of the musketry.

Halo 5's Arena multiplayer completely removed all of the Loadout/Killstreak stuff that Halo 4 had. It plays much more like classic Halo, just with newer movement abilities. And since everyone has the same abilities (unlike Reach), it’s a nice level playing ground.
