*technically* Vin Diesel has been in Wakanda fighting along side Black Panther...in Infinity War.
IDK, I’d have to respectfully disagree with you...I’m not saying you’re not right (there should be a female Bond in this day and age! Atomic Blonde was great!), but to say that you think the character was never written explicitly as male and then portrayed as overly masculine, is really a disservice to the whole…
I wouldn’t say it was annually, but Hugh Jackman played Wolverine for 17 years.
By casting two of the biggest, most recognizable movie stars in the world (The Rock and Kevin Hart)? One of the most famous long-term working film comedians in the business (Jack Black)? One of the UK’s biggest female exports (Karen Gillian)?
He has every right to spew whatever batshit crazy ideas he wants. He also has the right to suffer responsibilities from his speech.
No, because it was the third SW movie in as many years with a VERY VERY heavy Christmas movie push for 2017.
I like to just counter your argument about the second week drop off with this:
agreed - if this was a christmas release i guarantee it would have crossed the 500mm mark at the box office.
I also remember the studio pushing it in the direction of teen horror/superhero horror movie - partially because, as all studio execs are, they think - oh! well! Marvel did a heist movie with Guardians and Ant Man and a Spy Thriller with Winter Soldier - we can surely do a horror film with a bunch of future X-Men that…
I think available is iffy - if they’re contractually obligated...they have to have hold periods on board with the studio right? I remember Pratt saying in an interview maybe mid last year that he might not be able to film other, smaller movies/independent movies that he would feature in, because Marvel and Universal…
Took me a second, but yes, yes yes!
I agree with you on that - he doesn’t get enough credit for getting this off the ground and making it work. When you want a director who’s good with young kids - you go to Chris Columbus! And I think it was the smart move, I’m just glad he didn’t continue on as he’s not the best at turning things darker.
Well you kind of crest after hitting a large part of the market share...that’s the problem with your argument. Netflix can’t grow forever, it will plateau eventually, maybe have some drop offs here and there, but not enough that it won’t sustain itself.
LOLZ Netflix doesn’t have a lot of cash?
I would have love to have seen someone like del Toro consult on something like FB&WTFT. His artistic attention to detail and the weird, magical qualities he brings to his set designs would be so welcome in the Potterverse.
No Peeves was my only peeve about the series. Other minor things that films had to skip over tho I would LOVE in a series. You really could do so many episodes that move the greater story forward but let characters shine. All those hogsmede adventures, classroom lectures, train rides, etc etc.
I think I fell victim to a Troll in the dungeon!
*imperio*
hmmmm, well....hmmm.
