Funny you should say that, I graduated with a BS in Journalism with a double minor in Political Science and French.

Because I spent the last 3-5 years with chronic depression and I just managed to pull myself out of it at the beginning of the year. I’ll be damned if I let the fucking fools in DC pull me back in deep.
Hmm. Sorry I hold out for optimism.
We fear the same things!
Your opinion is basically fuck McConnell and McCain. Which is more of a feeling than statement.
but I would prefer the OP to get facts right, even if she is correct about everything else.
You make very fair points! I think I’m just holding out for optimism that he will actually walk the walk this time around. He did his party a favor by still voting yes to open up the debate, but maybe he’ll pull a real maverick move when the actual vote comes and he votes no.
Hmm. Sorry. I guess I will just go back to mindlessly rage hating all GOPers because that’s apparently what’s “in.”
But the deliciousnessssssssss.....! NOOOOO!
Get those waffles Moose! Breakfast for dinner. Toaster waffles for life, high or not high.
We’ve got a long road to this becoming a law.
I don’t think they can do a simple majority on this. And even say they do pass this bill, with any kind of amendment, it still has to pass in the House...and that place is a literal circus and I don’t think they can get anything accomplished. This isn’t the end here, the race just started.
Are you confusing McCain and McConnell here? I’m defending McCain’s speech. Not McConnell’s backroom, smoke filled, asinine BCRA. But he did introduce the bill, no one liked it, so he did what he could do next, was give an inch to democrats by opening the written bill up to debate...which is what happens in…
If it was Eggo brand butter flavored syrup, that’s ok? I think eggo sells syrup but it’s probably dumb expensive.
Maybe it’s time though to give air time to actual politicians having a meltdown instead of a pretend politician?
Let’s just all try to remember to see the light from time to time. McConnell still needs 60 votes! He’s not going to get them. But one day, the ACA will fall, either back to the insurance market pre 2010, or to a single payer system. The healthcare debate does not end today. And even if the BCRA passes, with…
Thank you very much! I know “bitpartisianship” is a bad word around these parts most of the time. Elizabeth Warren has been advocating for a bipartisanship committee to discuss and debate for months now and she gets a lot of praise, rightly so, for it. So when a GOP senator does the same thing, at great risk to his…
Are you talking about me defending McConnell? I don’t defend wax turtles.
Thanks! I hope that’s not the idea of the rebrand, but I really like Dodai and I don’t think she’s taking it in that direction.
