So I’ve turned the funeral I need to attend into an anthro experiment. Long story, don’t be as horrified as you might be. It’s the only way I can attend and minimize/not interact with anyone (to observe and document data) and not ruin anything as we amp up our plans to sue and distance ourselves from these

<3. good for you.

Mac with sour cream. I usually add bacon and other miscellaneous tid bits to it but lately it’s just been mac, various cheeses and sour cream. Pretty tasty.

That sounds so delicious! I may have to try those substitutions - I have a peanut and tree nut allergy so unless I make Asian food at home, I can’t eat it. Such a good idea.

Most likely education with a focus on minorities in education and equalizing access to educational resources. I’m also considering a Ph.D in education with a Master’s in Art History (Harlem Era to modern African & African American artists) because I’ve really enjoyed the Art History classes I’ve taken thus far and

mmmmm sounds so delicious!

I may have to try that recipe. I’m a big fan of pumpkin pie but haven’t made it in a few years and I loooooove cheesecake. Might look into that for Christmas. And I will definitely look into the mushroom and shallot recipe too.

oooh what are you studying in grad school? I’m heading there not next year but the following and will be applying next fall (postponed from this fall) so I can buckle down and really take my GREs.

now I want ham and split pea soup. and some nice crusty homemade bread.

that sounds so amazing! I wish I had the time and patience to do a full meal like that.

Mine are life-threatening treenuts and peanut allergies. Might be spreading to other related foods since I’ve been suuuuuuper picky about my diet lately too. Nuts somehow find their way into everything darn thing imaginable. Even alcohol. And now I’m avoiding soy too because my soy was a bit higher than I’d like at my

lmao controlling mothers will almost never learn. I and I’m sure many others - feell your pain my dear.

ooooh I haven’t had Cornish hens in years but would consider that if I could do a nice salt brine on their wee little bodies.

Hmmm I’ll have to unearth it. I know that it’s ground chicken wrapped in bacon and drenched in ketchup, worcestershire and mustard. Beyond that the meat is seasoned well. I need to look for that recipe - my husband and I made it back when we were dating and it was so insanely good. Haven’t had it since though cause it

what are your funeral potatoes?

it’s excellent. I get so many compliments on them. and her key lime pie bars too - those are phenomenal!

thankies same to you!

Cheese is the food of the gods and is the reason why I can never be vegan.

it’s way, way, way better. it’s cut in a spiral so all of the juices flow through it. it is AMAZING. I remembering going crazy for it as a kid. So good. And I’m not really a big meat eater either.
