I already watch that show! Must not have gotten far enough into it to see this scene though. I will rewatch it :) thank you!

that sounds really cute and tasty! I may have to try that next year.
<3 When I worked retail I worked Black Friday. So my heart goes out to anyone having to work holidays. As it is I'm working pretty late tonight so I almost feel your pain. Thank you for what you do.
I want a ribeye so badly. Maybe rib eye with cheese fondue and some fatty dessert. Yummy.
lmao at your description of your mother. this is why I’m half-dreading having her move in with us to help us raise our children when we move back there. yeesh.
I’m grateful for my husband because we have been through more trauma and drama (not our own of course) in the first year and a half of our marriage than most people endure in their entire lives. And also our dogs who put up with far too much.
I think we used to have one near my family too. Well, a few towns over. I miss the east coast, esp. this time of year :’(
I love spiral ham sfm. Haven’t been able to find a good one since I was back east. Will look into this for Christmas eve dinner. That sounds amazing.
Oooh I think I’ll do some homemade risotto for Christmas. that sounds delicious omg. That’s one of my fave dishes. Maybe risotto and creme brulee. Yummmm.
lol thanks so much. that’s largely why we’re staying home and I’m handling all of the food prep - that way I don’t have to duck and dodge and question people about where their food was prepared and what precisely is in it, incl. cross-contaminations. and similarly avoid the “but why aren’t you eating anything”…
I wish I could eat their food but they prepare everything in the same facility so my stupid allergies always prevent me from partaking in those kinds of meals :(
I’m making: lemon pepper chicken with a lemon pepper gravy,
what is this from? I definitely need to watch more movies.
Yep. I’m actually using it as fodder for my book - experiences dealing with a narcissistic family and their version of “normalcy” which is too funny. I’m actually getting course credit for taking notes and watching interactions at his mother’s funeral service(s) next week and then I ~hopefully~ never get to deal with…
There was seriously so much drama surrounding our wedding that we’re already planning a vow semi-private vow renewal in a few years. But ty.
Yep, she had sit with us prior to our ceremony and we went through what we wanted to do line by line. So frustrating :(
OMG where’d you meet her?! She used to live in my home state and I always fantasized about running into her. I’m such a WASP at heart it’s so sad.
Oh God my Great Aunt’s weird pseudo-live-in serious bf or whatever asked me when/whom I would start dating at 15. In front of everyone. I wanted to die. Or maybe it was when I would get married which was ironic because they never did. So weird. And he passed away before my wedding anyway so....
Our minister did the whole “does anyone object” business which was literally THE ONE THING we told her not to say for our entire ceremony because my husband’s family is SO SHITTY we didn’t trust them not to say anything. We were both shocked and livid. Luckily no one did but seriously we were not pleased.
None! My husband’s been abandoned by his shit-ass family (it’s serious, a long story, and yes we lawyered up cause it’s over surprise surprise MONAY!) and none of my relatives are visiting this year. So it’s just us and the dogs for our meal :)
