Would you say this is a good place to start? I’ve become interested in the series over the past year, mainly from reading this site, but I’ve heard that Yakuza Zero is where I should begin. This is a remake of the actual first game though so I’m pretty curious.

I’d say Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is probably the unofficial sequel to Red Dead Revolver

That’s depressing. Haven’t kept up with the Japanese entertainment industry in a while, so I didn’t even hear about this until now, but he was one of my favorite actors ever since the akihabara@Deep drama.

Now playing

Exactly. I think a lot of people who don’t see the microtransactions problem are confusing quantity with quality. I tried out the previous Assassin’s Creed game, Origins, after a long time away (last one I played was AC 3) hopeing for a truly interesting reboot. Unfortunately, I found it pretty boring; quite frankly I

Well, yes, but that isn’t what AC:Odyssey is doing. I 100%ed GoW and did all the side quests as they cropped up and felt like I almost always had the right level gear.

Sounds like how Horizon Zero Dawn did things, except there was nothing you could purchase with real money outside what was effectively a desktop skin and maybe pre-order bonuses.

Now imagine GoW is exactly as it was except now there is an XP booster for sale. Because that’s ACO. That’s the incongruence they talked about above. The game gives you a massive amount of content with multiple difficulty levels and doesn’t feel designed to drive you to make extra purchases, but they are there all

Ok, granted, but a: your situation is hypothetical. B: This is not how AC:Od is working at all. I’m up to 12 hours in, I’ve had one mention of the online store come up in my game at all, and it was only upon meeting the special vendor that deals exclusively in the premium currency that from what I can tell, I can

Yes. Now imagine all the exclusive items in the AC shop were end game quest drops. And imagine if the collectables maps could just be bought with ingame gold (like you could in AC2 and Brotherhood).

Waiting by the phone for Namco to call...

I swear to god, if Kazuma Kiryu or Goro Majima aren’t announced next, I’m am gonna get on the internet and bitch SO SUPER LOUD you guys.

She deserved to be fired, you can’t behave like that and keep your job at most companies. I’d be fired within minutes of a post like that, it’s unacceptable and unprofessional. I’m not condoning the gamer gate people who also want her gone(they are the worst) but let’s not make this a guilt by association thing.

Wow, the level of bias in this article is off the charts. Jessica was fired because she was extremely rude to a GW2 player. The player in question (Deroir) simply shared what he thought could better the player’s attachment to their in game avatar. So to imply that he was mansplaining the concept of dialogue choices is

I was listening to Giant Bomb the other day and they did the same thing when covering it. They seemed to refuse to mention half of what she said in order to mask just how overboard she reacted. GamerGate and all that nonsense is toxic, but no point in making this person a martyr.

While all the GamerGaters are shit heads, and people trying to sack individuals they don’t agree with is disgusting, Price is a total fucking asshole and has proved it multiple times in her social media feeds. ArenaNet did the right thing by letting her go. No one wants to employ a public facing person with zero self

“had called out the player, a YouTuber, for explaining the concept of dialogue choices to her”

Top one was her blowing off legitimate discussion and critique, something creative writing in a team setting absolutely demands.

Second one is the TB tweet.

Disclaimer: I am just talking about Jessica Price here, the other episodes of harassment are shitty and unacceptable and I am NOT pro-gamergate here.

Yeah fine good. Except Jessica literally incited her own mob right after she was rightfully fired for attacking somebody based on her insecurities rather than any actual wrongdoing.
