Yes, the show really did it. Ended with Old Man McNulty doing the tractor on a cliff in Montauk in 2050 or whatever. They really did it.

My father in law had severe OCD and Tourettes, and I thought Nic Cage in MM was actually a fairly decent depiction, since it so closely mimicked what he did in my own experience.
We know Norton’s a better actor than Cage (come at me bro) so I think he probably does it justice.
