They’re not selling every Z/28. They’ve been sitting on dealer’s lots to the point where they’re knocking 5-10k off of sticker to move them.

I wish I knew about this before I bought my R. Maybe then I could’ve negotiated under MSRP.

I love mine. Was eyeing the RS as well but needed a car now so I pulled the trigger on a manual R. Coming from a BRZ it fulfills 99% of my fun needs in a car while being extremely more practical

Jaguar’s critical mistake is that once the buyer finds out they can get a BMW 550i for only $3k more then they’re out of the showroom. 380HP for a $64k luxury car isn’t going to fly. Specs matter to luxury car buyers even if they’re not going to use them to their full extent. Jag should offer the 470HP supercharged V8

You think buying new cars is supporting a dull industry?

From the original article linked it looks like at least the Boxster/Boxster S variants will be 4 cylinder only. So far with the Boxster’s history the newest Boxster usually has the same power as the last generation 911. I don’t think the base engine will be 400HP but it’s not out of the question for the S variant to

It’s the same wheel from the C7.

They have hill assist now, even the old Camaro had it. So it’s a non-issue.

That makes no sense. The ATS comes with magnetic ride and is the lightest car in the class, the new Camaro is based on the ATS chassis so with the V8 it should be marginally heavier but still the lightest car in the class.

Wouldn’t a lengthened GX just be an LX?

The GX has a third row, like the 4Runner it’s based on. Though it is small.

I’m not a GM guy by any means but I’m really liking the new Camaro from what I’ve seen. Lighter (unlike the new Mustang), LT1, magnetic ride suspension, and the I’m a fan of the design. I just hope they get the interior right, no more shiny plastic inserts in the door cards please!

I’d argue having cars that barely look distinguishable from their Ford counterpart is the bigger problem. Luxury buyers aren’t stupid, they’re not going to pay a premium for a car with a different badge when it looks exactly the same as its blue collar sibling.

1st gear: There’s rumors that Lexus will be discontinuing the LX570 in the U.S. to make room for a flagship 7 passenger luxury crossover.

Why would they do that? That’s following in the footsteps of Lincoln, which has not had the sales success Lexus has achieved.

It's a weird car price wise. Smaller and 500lbs lighter than the GTI, but more premium than the Fiesta.

The 2 series is the new 1 series, at least in the US. The M2 is the successor to the 1M, and the MB and Audi came out after the 1M was discontinued.

Audi’s response is the RS3. MB’s response is the CLA/GLA 45.

There’s already a 740i. Available in the U.S. since 2010 or so and it’s the N55 I6.

I’m a first generation American as well, the son of an immigrant. As the son of immigrant you should know better than anyone that there are pockets of communities where immigrants speak a primary language other than English, and do business primarily in languages other than English. Heck, my local DMV offers written
