People hear the word "speakers" and assume they're using a prerecorded track. This system is really no different than the piped in system the FRS and ST cars use. And if it still bothers people all you have to do is pull a fuse to disable it.

It's the actual engine sounds. There's a microphone in the engine bay.

It is piped in by placing the microphone in the engine bay. It's not a prerecorded track, you're hearing the engine working in real time.

We have: Malibu Canyons, Angeles Crest, Route 33, all of the foothill mountains, and Mulholland drive.

Those two cons have very little impact on the majority of people living here. Most people aren't in areas where the wild fires are threatening, and the fires that do occur are taken care of relatively quick. Am I the only one here that thought it was already out of production? I thought the new Vanquish replaced this.

The FRS/BRZ have proved that this model could work. They're not going to sell like Corollas, but they're still selling, the scion version selling especially well.

Well like previously stated, Audi is using a modular system in the new A3. I think it's gonna play a big factor in next gen cars.

BMW has something similar with the LED headlights, but the stupid thing is that you have to turn the automatic high beam function on manually. No one is gonna bother with turning it on, especially when automatic headlights already are pretty good with low beam.
