Just out of curiosity, what about D2 Resurrected makes it difficult to play with time constraints? Progression is pretty straightforward, time invested = progression. Once you get to lvl 15+ you can start doing runs that can take minutes at a time. If anything, I feel like D2 is one of the more accessible games for

What’s your reason for actually wanting personal loot in D2? I feel like the negatives far outweigh the positives. I personally loved the thrill of waiting for that last 10% of life to tick away before scrambling to grab the items on the floor, it’s a huge part of the game that I don’t want to give up. On top of the

Alright fam, so be prepared for what’s going to happen.

Were you really waiting to play the game to find out what the title is?

That update is called Discord Restock Notifications

Dude, I wouldn’t have done half the things I’ve done in life without saying ‘Sure, I’ll try it’ first. Yoda’s advice is trash that Lucas made up so he would sound like the old wise mentor in a samurai flick, it’s not good advice that is applicable to the real world.

It’s almost like people could have played it outside of Steam in various times throughout their lives in the last 25 years to justify their passion for it or something...

I went down a rabbit hole with Axiom Verge 2 (after enjoying 1) and looked him up on Instagram which then led me to his wife’s page and I was really touched with 1. how proud she is of her husband’s success and 2. how they use the funds from these games to support their special needs son. Welcome to the “New and Improved” Kotaku, where snark, manufactured outrage, and a dismissive attitude toward everything are the rules of thumb.

What if they weren’t trying to use Korean and instead wanted it to feel close enough to our Earth languages but just different enough to be it’s own thing? This game does not take place on Earth and is full of made-up languages.

“We’ve got nothing new on the Blizzard fiasco today, so here’s this fluff piece.”

Why does it have to make sense by todays standards? This is another planet far in the future, who’s to say it’s not a combination of other characters and languages? If I remember correctly, in certain cyberpunk and futuristic stories, this is exactly how the current language is explained.

imagine reading an entire article that is clearly facetious and then posting a comment like you actually understood what was being read

Imagine thinking that the writer is threatening to literally turn into the Joker.

I’m guessing you thought A Modest Proposal advocated eating children too, eh?

Did you think they shot a baby too? You’ll be ok.

what does the word “personal” mean?

Hell yeah, I can’t wait to not be able to buy one of these.

This gives me major “Skate or Die” vibes.

Who’s saying it’s “new”? It’s just easier for a lot of people. But we get it, you’re a badass.
