I'm no fan of Abi, but she's definitely doing her best to keep the game interesting, that's for sure. But if you're playing the game with her, I just don't see how you can trust her for any length of time. Her volatile game is much more likely to blow up yours than help it.

"Just two people who had been through a lot of crap, deserved some happiness, and found it in each other. (That's what the whole show is about, in essence, right?)"

Namaste/He's Our You: I'm going to combine these two episodes for today's review, because 1) I've been racking my brain to come up with some stuff to write and I'm drawing blanks, and 2) I don't think that there is a lot of meat on these, compared to the rest of the remaining hours in Season 5. Also, it kind of

The A.V. Club

"They taste like burning."

Is it too late to join? If not, I'd like to get Jeremy, Joe, Kelley Wentworth, and Savage…if that's available.

LaFleur: The show gets flipped on its head once again, as we quickly learn that Sawyer and company have found their way into the Dharma Initiative, and not only that, Sawyer is in a position of power. How did this happen so fast? Let's find out…

The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham: Finally, after what seems like an eternity, we find out how John Locke got off the Island and what he intends to do to bring everyone back. I think it's safe to say that this was one of the most anticipated episodes not just of the season, but maybe the whole series. The

Or ever. It's been a great show so far, but this is the first A+ I've seen on TV Club.

To think, I turned to a cult for mindless happiness when I had beer all along.

"Look at the outrageous markup! You magnificent bastard, I salute you."

I don't think Jeff's going anywhere for awhile and I'd say he got the most screen time. Did I miss something at the end about the "elephant in the room"?

It's all good, I can respect that viewers like her as a villain for the game. She's just not someone I can root for.

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of us who didn't like Abi the first time and aren't going to like her this time either.

The only thing that keeps this from being an A episode was that Abi-Maria wasn't voted out. Five minutes in and I was quickly reminded why I wanted her out the first time.

316: I would have to say after watching this several times, 316 has become my favorite episode of Season 5, although in terms of quality, I'd still give the edge to Whatever Happened, Happened and Dead is Dead. Seeing Jack wake up in exactly the same way as he did in the Pilot, but this time experiencing the thrill

This Place is Death: We finally get to see where Jin has been while everyone else is flashing through time. After leading Rousseau's group towards the radio tower, they encounter Smokey, and Montand (who seems like a pretty lousy person) actually does get his arm ripped off. Then Jin disappears and reappears as

Short post today…just wanted to say something as it is now, amazingly, ELEVEN years since the Pilot aired. It's fitting that tomorrow's review includes 316, since it has the great scene, as @avclub-f8063f1b0b35246aaecc6911f3981d81:disqus mentioned recently, of Jack waking up as he did in the Pilot. I'll never forget

"But he didn't seem all that…"

"Listen to 'em. Watchin' my television, sittin' on my couch…You better not be in my ass-groove!"
