Juliet is still one of my favorite characters from Season 3. Elizabeth Mitchell did a wonderful job with the character, and I'm with you, I really enjoyed the scenes with her and Jack together. I never got the same feeling when Ana Lucia and the rest of the Tailies began to appear, other than with Eko.

You never know where the great TV shows are gonna come from. At the time, I wasn't watching any shows on ABC, but I caught the NBA Finals that year because I wanted to see the Lakers go down. There were plenty of promos for Lost during the games, and I was curious but not thinking it would be a must see. Once I

Great review, TJ, and glad to hear how much you enjoyed the show. I agree with a lot of your points, other than Hurley and Sayid being overrated. I never understood why Kate was so hated either, I found her character to be one of the most intriguing on the show (but that's just me).

I just finished watching those first six episodes again, and I think it plays out much better on DVD. There are some things that do seem off, but it's all minor details to me and I just sit back and enjoy what they have to offer.

No, you're definitely not the only one…I loved all of it. We can sit back and nitpick little details that didn't make sense until the end of time, but the bottom line, as far as I'm concerned, is that it's still such an awesome ride to go on from start to finish. I never get tired of watching.

Can't argue with that point, I'd just say let's remember that at this point in the show, Jack still had a hard time letting go.

It definitely leans more to the comedy side, but there's some good drama and back stories for several of the main characters. I think you'll really like Chuck Bartowski, especially in the first couple of seasons. I really don't think it's all that long, a little less than 100 episodes, so if you watch two at a time

I do feel like Jack's being overprotective of her, but I like that it leads to the scene later on when they're at the hatch, and they discuss that decision. Jack's right when he says that if everyone expects him to be the leader, then they shouldn't be questioning all of his decisions. That has gone on quite a bit,

Myles, I'd just like to echo what plenty of others have been saying on here: great job of discussing Season 1, your recaps express a lot of the things I like to point out about the show. You, as well as many of the people commenting on here, talk about Lost in a much better way than I ever could. I wanted to write

If Vincent chasing after the raft would destroy her, I can only imagine how she would react to seeing the end of the show.

Best episodes of Season 1 (one opinion):

Is anyone doing anything special for the 10th anniversary? There's a site for Lost 2014, I think at last count, around 250 people will be going to Hawaii to celebrate the anniversary. Jorge Garcia's supposed to be there for a Q & A, and there's going to be tours of places where they filmed, and some other stuff that

They ARE that good, no doubt about it.

It was the same feeling for me too…I can understand why people would be pissed to leave it there, but I just couldn't wait to see what would come next. That's the mark of a great show to give you a cliffhanger that just leaves you wanting more and something that you can't stop thinking about. Looking back, I

#1 is no doubt for me, Through the Looking Glass. Just a mind-blowing episode of television, and I can't wait to discuss that one when the time comes. Then I would go Season 1, Season 4, Season 2, Season 6, and Season 5. Agree with SG Standard that all six of the finales are amazing, so that's absolutely no knock

I still remember watching Part 1 of Exodus for the first time, and the excitement building for Part 2 just like after the Pilot aired. This finale was so amazing and the cliffhanger, wow. Where do you start?

I think you're right, and I'm flashing back to House of the Rising Sun when Kate was (seemingly) torn regarding staying on the beach or going to the caves. Sawyer had a conversation with her about the decision, so that's probably when they might have been considering that.

One sad note regarding Born to Run: I read recently that the actress who was the voice of the younger Kate, Skye McCole Bartusiak, died last month at the age of 21. I don't know what the cause of death was, since it was an older article, but she had some notable roles including the Mel Gibson movie The Patriot, and

I was thinking about that episode today for some reason and Sawyer in particular; reading these recaps about Season 1 is a reminder of what he was like back then and although he had some great moments, he still spent a lot of time pushing everyone's buttons. But I couldn't remember him ever doing that to Claire, so I

Congratulations of finishing Season 3 and 4, glad that you enjoyed it. No surprise to hear Through the Looking Glass was fantastic, I still feel that's the best episode of Lost but I can't argue with the episodes you prefer. The Shape of Things to Come is the 2nd best overall in my opinion, and The Man From
