Very good episode too, but I didn't want the list to be all Season 1, even though I love that season more than any other. A scene for all time with Jack, Kate, and Charlie though.

I'm not really interested in debating how the series ended, but you bring up an interesting point. Airports were used frequently in this series, more so than churches, and for them to meet up in LAX or Sydney in the flash-sideways probably would have made more sense.

I love that scene with Charlie and Claire, it's a culmination of all his time on the island and how far he's come to be the kind of person who's worthy of being called a hero later. It feels like a scene that in most shows, would be placed at the end of a series when everyone is moving on with their lives, but here,

I always thought they clicked really well, and you explain it perfectly. Kate was good for Jack because she challenged him in ways he had never seen from a woman before, and Jack offered her hope where she had none previously. The Moth was a good example of how quickly she connected with him; she was so desperate to

I always especially look forward to these first 10-12 hours when starting a Lost re-watch, and that got me to thinking: What are everyone's favorite episodes of Lost? Keep in mind, favorite is not necessarily best. The Moth was one of my favorites when it first aired, and I still love everything about it even if it

Should also mention that Zachary Levi's still trying to get that Chuck movie made. Yvonne's gonna be really busy if they can pull that off, juggling Sarah Walker and Kate Morgan if 24 continues.

Probably enjoying his time with his new wife, Missy Peregrym of Rookie Blue fame.

Yes, unfortunately that was Season 2. I bet the writers wish they had a complete do-over on the whole Kim storyline. Other than the way that season ended for her, she never fit into Day 2.

Yeah, she was never gonna do it but she was very convincing. I also really appreciated the scene in the car where Kate was telling Jack about the last time she saw her husband. Yvonne Strahovski does an excellent job describing how she felt knowing that her husband took his life in part because she stopped believing

Yeah, it was almost like Kate learned that tactic from Jack…it reminded me of Season 2 when Jack interrogated Nina and he started shooting right above her head just to get a name to tie to the location of the bomb.

It almost seems like there has to be another season now, I don't see how they can wrap this up in two more hours.

I feel like even with two hours left, this season belongs up there with the best of them. Where would everyone rank Season 9 compared to the others?

Also, "A Totally Fun Thing Bart Will Never Do Again" is a great episode from that season. That one plus "The Book Job" and "Holidays of Future Passed" should be in any top 10 Simpsons episodes of the last decade.

House of the Rising Sun continued the great start with the first real look at Sun and Jin. The first thing I noticed in watching it again was when Sun was watching Jack and Kate prepare for their hike and they were speaking English (from Sun's POV). I'm sure some people caught that right away or knew in advance from

White Rabbit, one of my top 5 episodes from Season 1. I always liked Jack as a character, even if he was spiraling downward after the first season. Maybe I just feel like I could always relate to him better than some of the others, even though I like pretty much all the characters. The popular thing to say (and

Right with you, absolutely obsessed with this show…hooked from the beginning. Four years since it ended, the passion for it has not waned one bit. If it's on TV (especially this first season), I have to watch it, even though I have all six seasons on DVD. It's a good sickness. :-)

Heroes is a show we can all look back on and say, what were we thinking? It went downhill so fast and like you, Emma, I can't believe I watched all of it either.

I just watched Fire + Water again last week and yeah, it doesn't get any better. I think the reason it falls behind Stranger in a Strange Land and Across the Sea is because of the bad decisions being made all around.

Haven't read most of the comments, but I'm wondering…is it possible that Margot's husband is still alive? I'm just thinking back to Season 1 when the story was that an explosion killed Victor Drazen's wife and daughter, and Jack thought that Victor Drazen was dead too. Then he shows up very late in the game. It

The music still doesn't get talked about enough, for how well it set the scenes, described emotions, etc. After that episode aired in Season 4, I would rewind back to that scene you just mentioned, partly just to hear "Of Mice and Ben" again.
