I am living for this right now.
I am living for this right now.
Speaking of DVDs, I hope they have the money to keep "Tomorrow Never Knows" on the ones for this season. I couldn't imagine a replacement song.
This was great, Todd. I know this episode was hard to write about. I didn't know what to make of Megan's decision. It's interesting how both Peggy and Don took their feelings about her out on each other. They were both right about Megan's feelings, but they have no idea that her dad reminded her of who she used to…
It's been 20 hours and I'm still laughing at that Dead Tom Hanks line. STILL.
This made me laugh so hard. Jesus.
I like him!
That delighted me to no end.
I think he's pretty progressive about a lot of things, but then I remember that he's an au pair-raping man child.
True, but none of the men on the show are experiencing their tragic story-lines because of their gender. Especially now that Sal is gone.
I thought the first one was great at showing how every single woman on that show has a weird, tragic storyline. Makes me wonder if anyone will end up happy.
My absolute favorite thing about it was when he said to her something along the lines of "I don't even know who you are outside of the lady who flicked off the camera at the superbowl."
I could have sworn that the announcer before the commercial break said "so and so presents the Record of the Year Award to Adele" but I must have just imagined it because no one else mentioned it.
This made my eyes water, it was so well-written. Say what you will about her, she had a beautiful voice.
I have to agree with you. I thought this show was cheesy soapy fun from the moment that ambassador died in Mary's bed. The plots are supposed to be ridiculous!
The way I started listening to WTF was just by finding someone I really liked and listening to their episode. I think my 1st one was the Louis CK ep. The live episodes are hit and miss, but almost always worth it for Eddie Pepitone and Jim Earl, who are usually the last guests.
Thanks for covering My Brother, My Brother, and Me! It makes me laugh out loud constantly. I'm glad to hear Todd Glass is gay. The way folks were going on about it on Twitter, I thought he was going to tell Maron he was dying or something. That interview was amazing because you could tell he still has so much…
I love this show so much, I just laughed out loud reading the name "AG Pennypacker."
I didn't like the first episode, but it grew on me with each episode. By the end, I was excited for more. It was too weird to hate, if that makes sense. A 2nd season would have been nice, if only to see some explanations for the crazy shit.
Thank you for answering the question about Uncle Jesse's band at the end of the piece. It was making me crazy the whole time I read it. Hats off to you and the rest of the AV Club for this awesome break down of the issue, Mr. O'Neal.
But if you read it, it's obvious that they are quoting her, so what's the problem?
