Yeah it had the barebones RPG elements but it was still Stealth forward game compared to Origins where it shifted to combat oriented RPG first and stealth as an optional thing.

It’s the last good AC game. The things they’ve done since might be good games but they aren’t AC.
I really agree, this game is criminally underrated. The protagonists are a ton of fun, the setting is great, I just really didn’t find a lot to complain about in this one, especially with it coming on the heels of Unity.
It’s amazing how many people are still unaware of the Streisand Effect.
Mechanically, Arkham Knight was the best of the series. My main gripes were the tank battles (I mean, fighting Deathstroke in a tank? Really?) and the extremely repetitive and formulaic side-missions. Oh, I also thought the writing was pretty bad. Rocksteady made a big deal about the Arkham Knight being a brand new,…
At half price I’d almost recommend this game, honestly, $20 is this game’s max value, it’s exceptionally meh.
Man, this really got me once again thinking how fantastic the Arkham Trilogy was as an experience for me. As well as reminded me how sad I am that we never got a finish for the Telltale Batman game as those first two games were so good, but also left me feeling that there was a grand finale they were planning.
Star Wars seems to benefit from a long hiatus between movies. TPM and TFA each made the most money of their respective trilogies. The anticipation is built into the experience. When they tried to make it like an MCU thing with Rogue One and Solo, the numbers started to go down.
Do they “have to?” Not really. Considering the franchise has gone 10 and 15 years between movies before and still made lots of money.
That was so cool that I gave it a pass on it’s stereotypically misguiding portrayal on how defibrilation and CPR works.
I don’t think any Marvel movie has really been dependent on you having seen another one, with the exception of End Game. It’s not like they’re so deep that you need the context of another one to get it.
Yet the plot of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness was dependent on having seen WandaVision,
Well Kratos did die though, and he was brought back. Technically...
It’s just that it wasn’t 20 years, but more like 20 seconds
Nah, their storytelling instincts were bang-on, this would be tedious and diminish the themes of the work.
Casual genitals? I myself always dress my genitals in a top hat and tails.
“Casual Genitals” is a great band name.
The Switch is perfectly capable of running games built and optimized for it. Breath of the Wild had issues because it was a Wii U game that became a Switch game but still had a Wii U version.
after 2020, years don’t have any meaning.
I guess it somehow hadn’t hit me until just now how much Nintendo seem to prioritize hardware sales over, say, software sales. And sure you need the hardware first, but with a massive install base like the Switch has, software should be very profitable. I would have guessed that the margins for software were far…
A little surprised we didn’t get anything mentioned for it the other day, but the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters (the first 6 FF games) are all coming to the Switch (and PS) some time this year (I believe “Spring 2023" was the last word).
