Any honest person will recreate the number of guesses they genuinely got on the old site. To do otherwise is to lie.

Fun fact: Wordle has still been playable all week through the original site, as long as you had a tab open prior to the migration and didn’t refresh your browser.

I think they do add to the plot, and tie in strongly to the themes the game is trying to address - that being the unintended consequences of noble acts. Chrono Trigger had you changing history constantly, but rarely considered ripple effects beyond the main story.

The Kirby lore is super dark and messed up even when everything is superficially brightly colored, cuddly, and saccharine.  I can’t imagine the horrors of this game.
