Also a JRPG lover who had a GameCube and not PS2 and had to stick with Tales and Skies. I liked Tales, tho. But I can say it’s a very different series from Final Fantasy (or rather, Final Fantasy at the time). It’s a lot more anime and goofy which may have been what turned you off.

Had a friend describe Stray as a “Point and click adventure” and I was like gtfo.

And I thought we just called Deus Ex an RPG.

Immersive...what?

I have no idea what that even means. It’s a first person stealth/shooter with a time loop gameplay element; simple. What in the world is “immersive arcade sim” and how does that describe...anything?

Highlight of the presentation for me. I bought the first one as a meme but fell in love with it and absolutely got the second. I may go stupid and get the deluxe version here.

I am very confused by this post.

I got BotW and Horizon Zero Dawn both at launch with the plan to play them simultaneously. That failed miserably and BotW won out. I am just now, in 2022, on the verge of beating HZD, and the joke is it will take me until 2027 to play Forbidden West. But with Pokemon and God of War due out in a few months and now the

Could still be interpreted as crying tho, if you think about it. The kingdom is damaged and the land it shoots out are its metaphorical teardrops.

This isn’t actually why, right? They’re also just posted it, so unless they censored the end...

Fun fact: this is how I first heard about the Nintendo UK thing, and I thought that was parody too.

It may be the year of our lord 2022 but clearly these Monarch Death Protocols haven’t been updated since 1822.

Hey Evan! Love seeing where you career is taking you! Wishing you all the best and I look forward to hearing more about this project.

PS4 era. Came out after Unity.

Syndicate is a wonderful return to and sending-off for the Ezio era of the series. It doesn’t include Ezio, but it’s a throwback to the playstyle of his games.

Somewhat copying what I said above: Syndicate. Black Flag, although popular, is more of a pirate game than an Assassins Creed game. Syndicate is the last of the original style of the games: a focus on being an assassin and sneaking around in a big city (London). After this the series became another giant open world
