Or Red XIII. You can never have enough Red XIII.

“COME WITH ME TO SEE MOTHER AS WE RECLAIM THE PLANET.”

I mean it has to be Supernova, right?

Wait, WHAT. LOL

Yeah I didn’t realize the windows ever actually reflected.

I wonder if those videos had the brightness all the way down, haha.

Wait this isn’t a default? I thought extra lives were exorcised from 3D platformers after Banjo-Tooie did away with them.

I got Too Cool For Pokemon when Gen III came out, so this isn’t even nostalgia speaking for me. Aside from the UI, the gameplay is polished and the features are immense (PokeNav to chain for IVs and egg moves, and Trainers Eye to rebattle? Yes please!) Also there’s a goddamn old-school rpg global airship! Who doesn’t

The shops have weapons and runes. But I’m fine with my current axe and bow combo, and I have too many runes to use as-is.

Yo!

> I tried to convince myself to ask for Valhalla, but I also kind of refuse to play a game that seems to be set in perma-fall/winter

How is Crash 4? It keeps dropping to $30 on Amazon and I’ve been eyeing it. Although lol like I have time for that right now.

Hi folks.

Yup, you’re spot on. DLC now resembles expansion packs from back in the day.

Smash Ultimate is one of the best examples of DLC done right, isn’t it? The base game has an absurd amount of content; you can’t really ask for more with the original purchase. The new fighters and levels are absolutely expansions. And you know they take serious time to make, too.

Ubisoft has been fine for awhile. At least with Assassin’s Creed.

Eh, Pokemon S&S was a full game; that’s just how meh Pokemon has gotten over the past few gens. Gamefreak stuck with the same formula they used on dedicated handhelds because why bother trying harder when your games print money regardless. I see the expansions as cheaper/better alternatives to releasing a third game /

DLC got off to a bad start since devs were basically locking necessary and ready-to-go content behind an additional $30 after you already paid the base $60. That’s some bullshit. But as time went on, DLC became more like expansion packs of the old days: content created after the initial release that adds to the base

Depending on the game this can be me. Has something to do with how far away the camera is from the player character: sometimes it just always feels wrong.

Yup, I’m an airplane guy, so inverted controls were my normal, but only in the vertical direction (horizontally I could do either). Then something switched in my brain about five years ago and now I can’t do inverted vertical anymore, even in flight games. It’s super weird.
