The interesting thing about the sun’s movement is that it is a consistent arc always, even when Mario is moving. It only appears to be coming after Mario because it’s arc is described in screen space, not the world space of the game. Once you “see through” this illusion, and see how the sun moves identically on the

EPISODE ONE: RACER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Giveeeeee meeeeeeee PSVR 2.0 infooooooooooooo!!!

Indeed. I find the clarity of inflection point the DS4 and switch pro bumpers the most consistent feedback for buttons. After all, its the same feel you get from the face buttons on all of those pads, including the xbone pad. What’s good enough for the face is good enough for the bump, I say.

If you mean the second edition “bluetooth” version, I’ve got a grey and blue one on my desk as we speak. It’s a huge improvement over the original, but I still hate that clicky feel. It makes me think of cheap flip phones from the late 90s. Of course I’m interested in the elite pad, but its 150 dollars and no

I find the original xbone pad with the stiff bumpers nearly unusable. That revision was sorely needed.

I’ll give you that. The Switch pro d-pad has its own problems. I think ps4 and 8bit do are leading the pack in d-pad. The only reason I like the switch pro d-pad over the xbone is because the terrible cheap clicky texture as mentioned before.

These changes seem nice, but honestly the only thing I want from a new Xbox controller is the abandonment of the shallow clicky feel from the d-pad and bumpers. Both the PS4 and Switch pro d-pad and bumpers don’t suffer from this problem, and should be a model of more what I’d expect from a controller. The d-pad and

My guess is it’ll be the horizontal only. Which is what I was hoping for in Doom 1 and 2. Sadly they didn’t implement it.

For the “total replacement” kind of motion controls your referring to, I agree with what you’ve said. But there is a form of gyro aiming that is also quite useful in that the player uses gyro aiming for small tweaks that are difficult to do with the analog sticks. Like you said, outside of Splatoon I find it difficult

Interesting to learn there was input latency in the original. As a kid I didn’t know what to look for, but the game made me motion sick where no other FPS did. I wonder if that was the reason.

Wow, motion control aiming on PS4?? Color me surprised. I thought after the success of Splatoon, Sony would pick up this easy win by asking all third party FPS devs to add gyro aiming on their platform, as to have one more leg up over xbox. But it never came to be. Meanwhile every switch owner is foaming for gyro aim

w-w-w-w-whaaaaaaaaaaaat??? Sign me up.

Controversial opinion? I don’t like the gameplay in Naughty Dog games. At each crossroads of gameplay vs visual storytelling, they pick visual storytelling every time. They’re hardcore chomping at the bit to be a movie studio, I can feel it pouring off the screen of their games. I quit playing Last of Us halfway

I’m not interested in playing this. The whole reason anyone wanted a remake in the first place is to be able to relive the incredible story of FF7. The story was incredible because of its excellent content and pacing. This remake explodes the pacing to hell, and has no satisfying conclusion. You can’t just remove the

I’m having de ja vu. Did they do this before? Are they reinventing it again?

I’m here for the Ryoko callback.

You told me it was enormous, but I still wasn’t prepared.

Extremely appealing
