The hybrid system is and entirely bespoke racing system. It has underpinnings in McLaren's race winning KERS system that Zytek developed in 2008-2009. Moving on from that, a lower cost version was developed for sportscars, and adapted quite successfully to the CRZ-GT.

Plus Moto2 and Moto3 are amazing as well. Consistently 5 guys swapping spots up until the final straight. Look at the Moto3 race this past weekend where Little Marquez (another one!) was leading on the penultimate lap, and ended up finishing off of the rostrum without actually making any sort of mistake.
