Oil is oil . . . right?

They won’t learn. They will just blame other countries for raising prices to bring down their dear leader, because they don’t know how tariffs work.

Mr. Orange and his supporters don’t really understand how the world economy works.

And here’s the thing — the tariffs might be 25%, but you’ll be shocked to know that companies will raise them by 35% (or more), just because they know that most stupid Americans cannot do percentages. So they’ll collect an extra 10% on the backend but blame the entirety of the increase on the tariffs.

I have to take care of myself mentally before. We did this for 4 years. I can’t another 4. So I’ve checked out.

I feel for them too, but this is where we are. We couldn’t TELL people concerned with the economy why Trump would make things worse, rather than better. They simply wouldn’t believe us no matter how many dots we connected for them. No matter what logic we used.

Big same.  I hope they fucking choke on it.

The fools don’t realize that OPEC can just cut production and let prices stay where they are. And US oil companies aren’t going to spend billions to build new capacity or cut prices assume sort of gift to consumers. Methinks Mr. Orange and his supporters don’t really understand how the world economy works.

I think they should have an insulting photo of Trump and the slogan ‘You Voted For This’.  You can’t put this on the guy who is doing exactly what he said he would do.  Time for the dipshits who voted for him or didn’t vote at all to bear the responsibility.

I’d call it selective humanity. The party of ‘personal responsibility’ needs to understand what that means.

The thing about price increases and corporations is that when prices go up, they rarely(if ever) go down. By the time ‘US manufacturing catches up’, us Americans are so used to the higher price that the corporations will just leave them high and continue to rake in profits. Tariffs are terrible for everyone except…

I might order some of those delightful “I did that!” stickers that those motherfuckers found so fun in 2021, with Trump’s face this time.

The biggest problem with that is the people who wanted this are too stupid to know why things are more expensive. They’ll be blaming Biden/Dems for the next 4 years for anything that goes wrong while praising Trump for anything that goes well in their life. Any real correlation or causation will be completely ignored. 

Just wait until Canada cuts off oil exports to the US and the price of gas jumps a dollar or two.  Try explaining to your uncle that he voted for that.

Same here, I’m fortunate enough that a little more cost of living is not a huge deal but I am HYPE to see the mouth breathers that voted for this suffer while doing what I can to assist the innocents.

I can’t wait for the tariffs. The fuckers that voted for him deserve it.
