I’m curious how they don’t know how many busses were built, but they know that only one still exists.  How do they know that only one exists if they haven’t found all the other ones?

I’ve seen that bus in the movie and online, it’s one of the ultimate examples of the colorful, optimistic and futuristic designs of the post WWII, anything-is-possible-let’s-go-into-space period. Now, sadly, we get the Cybertruck.
