Just to make it clear, the lane open is time dependent, NB car pool lane will be SB between 6AM - 10AM and opposite will be between 4PM to 8PM

In the short term, why not open the opposite side car pool lane only for direct traffic (from I5-405 near Valentia) to Santa Monica Blvd exit on 405. The direct traffic can take that route which will reuse the current infrastructure wisely. Thought to share!
