I'm not sure if non-parents truly appreciate how evil Disney is. Without children, you see the Disney-produced movies, and with their buying of every major franchise under the sun, you may think, "hey, Pixar films are good," or "Harry Potter doesn't suck," and you may look with hope for the coming new Star Wars films.

'87 here.. it was all Hot Wheels for me - Matchbox dropped in quality significantly in the early 90s. Hot Wheels still had the substantial metal feel to them and were (seemingly) more durable back then.
