This was the first soundtrack I bought. After watching the film, I was convinced that the soundtrack would have more singing pygmy children and was disappointed when their voices were so limited. That said, this tape to CD to download has been in constant rotation.

I have read many books. I think Nixonland, which has been mentioned here is a great book, just not the best I've read this year. Again, thanks for you thoughtful and pleasant comments.

Thanks for recognizing my maturity and sophistication, for the fact that I am commenting on something that I actually read. That's exactly how adults behave.

The books aren't depressing or horrible, those events happen, but they compose a rather rich life. I know because I read them. So in that I agree with your final statement.

Sorry - the books reviewed on this are relatively juvenile - kind of like your post. Unlike the films, television or music reviewed here, the books seem stuck to a certain demographic for easy reading. I like fantasy and comics and read them often, but would never consider them best.
