That sounds about right

They used to use something like that in this country, but it was in industrial buildings and more of a belt with hand and foot holds.

Agreed, but I don't mean block the entire visible spectrum, just the wavelengths (colors) specific to laser pointers.

Because there's nothing that can block a specific wavelength without blocking others. Such a device has eluded science completely. http://goo.gl/ufQ6T

Of course they can be any spectrum but there's a good chance the cheap laser pointers don't vary that widely.

Why couldn't a filter calibrated to the specific wavelength of those green lasers be added to the glass in the cockpit? They do it with goggles, why not a pane of glass?

Adults acting like adults. Right. Next you'll be expecting cats to act like cats!

And for an additional fee they'll let people sit there.

Really? Nothing about the abysmal battery performance, but facebook is baked into the OS.

This is way more than squeamishness. We've been deceived, we've been sold inferior product at a premium and with the expectation that it's the labeled product. Sure it's safe, sure it's edible, of course ammonia has been used to kill bacteria in the production of most beef - but that doesn't mean we have to like it.

So how much did that cost the taxpayers?

Not much different from an accounting office around tax time.

Hmm. How can I convince the office ergonomics guy I need one of these?

That depends how rootable it is.

We hired someone 50+ and immediately regretted it. He didn't last 90 days.

Not to mention there's an upcharge on prime items. It's usually a couple dollars, but I've seen it as high as $10 on a $12 item. Amazon doesn't lose any money on prime. We don't pay full price for 2 day shipping, but neither does Amazon.

How do you get segway from that monstrosity? Ugly - sure, impractical - absolutely. I'd even go so far as to say completely ridiculous (read: hipster), but segway?

My b&o earbuds scratched mine. Dammit.

I'd hate to see a total eyesore if this isn't it.
