wow. i think that 'deadbeat' was a little on the heavy side. i know many fathers (and a few mothers) whose relationship did work out with their, at that time, significant other and they are all far from 'deadbeat' status. sometimes, shit just happens.

I might have cared when I was 15 but now that I'm nearing 30 I could care less if my mother sees me smoking and drinking, throwing up gang signs. She still says she's proud of me.

My good friend bought a Vizio and I was blown away at the price and quality of it. 32" LCD. He bought it around 2006~2007.

@Antubis: Especially with the addition of the Houston Pavilion, Christmas here always looks good. The city really knows how to decorate. I work in the heart of downtown and I'm already seeing the trees get lit up on Clay St. I'm also fond of ExxonMobil Bell Building's decorations, too.
