In '83 I got the Tamiya Frog. First and only thing I ever asked for and received for Christmas. 28 years later I still have it. My 3yr old son plays with it. For it's time it was lightning fast, handled well, and had super cool quick-change gears. By quick change I mean you had to take the whole transmission apart.

best post of the day.

Saw my first in the wild last week just North of Spokane, WA. It was coming down the freeway in the opposite direction. I thought "Oh! An Elise!... wait a minute. Something's wrong with it..." I'll be.... it's a Tesla. I never expected to see one in person.

Stubborn detainees display an increased desire to cooperate after the second strip search. lol

There was also an Alpine stereo Lambo Countach poster. At that time my prize possessions were a Schwinn Mag Scrambler BMX, a Benjamin air rifle, a yellow and red Eagle casting rod, an a lock-back pocketknife. Summer days were spent doing chores, paper route, fishing, blowing stuff up in the garden with fireworks

There are many amazing turbos, but there is only one clear answer to "most iconic".

I don't expect Netflix streaming for my HTC Magic unless the images are rendered in ascii at 3 frames per second.

The dump truck is awesome. It's the only thing on the list I have the slightest interest in. Other than the jeep you'd have to PAY ME to take any of the others.

/me gives a standing ovation

This just hurts to watch. For over 20 years I've hoped to own a Beech 18 some day. Probably won't ever happen and this just rubs salt in the wound.

Hooray for the PHONEDIAL! I have these on my turbo 914.

This is the most awesome wheel in history. It would be impossible to calculate how many times someone rode these wheels to victory, and yet it's the same wheel that has carried millions to the grocery store, the office, or dropped the kids off at school. This wheel has won world rally championships. It was the wheel

Great news!

Yep, Landau tops are just sad. They are like a toupee made out of a carpet scrap and glued on with 2-part epoxy made from equal parts hopelessness and denial.

The bad news: everything is encrypted.

@Cisco-Kid: That is the only correct answer.

@shawn.meagher: I'll second that! I was thinking exactly the same thing. 2 cup holders in the console and I've never found anything that fits in them. The only other thing is that the pillar seatbelt shoulder mounts all rattle. All 4 of them in unison. I've thought about stuffing some putty or something inside them
