This is true, at least, it’s a common theory, though some Muslims don’t like the idea that you’re basically using contemporary Christian symbolism and saying, “therefore, this is totally what Muhammad meant”.

Not really sure how you can definitively make that statement? But either way, when a religion contains 1 billion people...
Same. That’s an aircraft that I am guaranteed never to hear, except in videos.
No doubt these “mass cyberwarfare strikes” are killing lots of terrorists.
Find and arrest this man, dammit!!
Yeah, it would be one thing if MLB itself tried to regulate it from the stadiums, but explicitly making what’s a legal product illegal only at sporting events seems uncomfortably close to being a bill of attainder. I mean, everyone recognizes that it’s just about getting a certain group of people to stop doing…
You don’t have to like tobacco to equally dislike the logic of dumbass politicians
Seriously, this Curt Schilling is the best Curt Schilling.
Basically the sound of a B-36, too, except a little less of it.
Basically.
For spending a lot of time in the PNW I’ve actually never seen any of Allen’s collection, I don’t think, unless you count the Collings Foundation’s reproduction Me-262 that was basically bankrolled by Allen. It’s certainly on my list.
I suppose, if you were so inclined, you could remove the throttle/fuel control channel and replace it with a variable pitch channel. Let the turbine spin at 100% or close to it at all times.
They may. I’m not tuned into the hardcore R/C market to know for sure, but that seems like a lot of channels to have to worry about, once you’ve got your basic control surfaces, throttle/fuel control, along with things like retractable landing gear, flaps, bomb bay doors/dummy weapons, etc., that may come as higher…
Never even close to possible without microelectronics, of course. Would really love to someday build a model Bear with a bunch of those.
I actually started the preminilary process of designing and building my own working model turboprop engine a few years ago, before I discovered others, with more resources to spare, had already done it — and were charging on the order of 20 grand for one.
I actually do like the sound of turboprops, more because I understand what’s happening inside and how unique and neat an engine design that is than because of anything particularly attractive about the sound.
Well, it certainly makes your comments harder to read, and makes people take you less seriously.
Pretty sure that’s YouTube
“The next Brock Osweiler” has to be some kind of joke, right?
That sounds really sexy.
