What “threatening gestures”? And by “celebrating fascist leaders” do you mean tearing down Soviet WW2 war memorials?

Well, I, for one, would certainly argue there’s such a thing as a moderate Islamist. They’re in power in Turkey, for one thing. And not everybody fighting is Salafist anyway. The ethnic Turkomen and Kurds are neither, do you have a problem with us supplying them, too?
Haha! At the Nautilus reference.
One air strike on a hospital in Aleppo is not going to change anything for any rebel group in Aleppo. The Syrian Army is going to take Aleppo soon either way, and one air strike won’t change that.
Kind of a nitpick, but Syria has attacked our ally Israel on several occasions, most brutally in 1973. Syria also supports Hizbullah, a sworn enemy of the US and Israel, and aligns itself with Iran, so to say we’ve never had disagreements with them is not correct.
It could also be that the Serb security forces were worried that MSF MIGHT be spies.
I am sure we would not be happy about that; however, Mexico has no reason to fear the US will invade militarily. The last time we did that was in 1916, and we tried to find a bandit for 11 months, didn’t find him, and left. (1848 was much worse)
I’m less concerned about the fact that they’re flying the cheap and decently capable FA-50 than the fact that they have, like, a dozen of them.
And that’s what I meant. Turkey could defeat the Russian forces IN Syria, probably. Turkey could not defeat Russia.
Turkey beat Russia in the Crimean War.
I am not sure I believe the story about MSF in Kosovo spotting targets for NATO. Not saying it’s false, just not sure I believe it.
Well, they would invent it to avoid the bad press about having bombed a hospital. They’re trying to argue that the US bombed the hospital to make Russia look bad.
Haha
I don’t think even the Turkish Air Force by themselves would have trouble defeating the Russians in Syria. Even with S-400, Su-34, Su-30M, the Russians would have trouble defeating 300+ F-16s.
What about what the Ukrainians want? Is that relevant?
If the US took a stand against China, I think we’d have more friends there than you think. But either way, China has ALREADY been arguing and complaining and acting for years that US planes in international waters are actually in Chinese airspace, and the closest they’ve come to shooting one down was when that idiot…
That study was full of shit because it 1. made assumptions about a single rocket that were incorrect, and only even relevant to some of the multiple attacks, and 2. used old Syrian army positions that were inaccurate on the day the chemical attack took place. Either way, nobody with access to all the facts believes…
Yes, I’m sure everyone getting cluster bombs dropped on them in the above video did that.
China abstained, which was their way of agreeing to it. Abstention is consent in the UNSC. Russia also voted for it. And the goal WAS never execution of Qaddafi, the Libyan people did that on their own — again, if that were the goal from the beginning, it would have been easy enough to achieve.
There’s no more funding for the X-47 proper, but it wasn’t intended to be an end product. It was always intended to be a technology demonstrator. It’s a bit like saying the “Stealth Fighter program” was cancelled after they stopped paying for the Have Blue. Well, they stopped working on the Have Blue, and developed…
