Not even close to the same. Peaceful transit of territorial waters, if necessary, is legal. The US craft broke down (or inadvertently navigated) in territorial waters right off the coast of a major Iranian naval base.
Really, the only objectionable part was the video of the captain apologizing, but that’s hardly something to get one’s panties in a bunch about.
