Are you getting back the original file you uploaded (with its possible low-bit rate origins and glitches) converted to 320kbps MP3, or is it just a 320kbps MP3 that matches the properties of the song you uploaded?

That sounds like a good free solution, but if you're looking for more features, I recommend SMS+ (which does timestamps, quick reply, and some other features) and Cyntact (adds contact pictures in your contact list, phone list, etc - but strangely not the text message list). They are only about $4 total, and well…
SMS+ is another good alternative for QuickReply. Not quite as simple, but has some extra features that are nice.
thanks! I'll give that a try.
How about a program to do the reverse of this? I want to use a Windows keyboard in OSX (on a hackintosh laptop). I found a way to swap the CTRL and ALT keys, which makes copy/paste work like normal. However, task switching is now CTRL+TAB instead of ALT+TAB.
me too! Launch day iPhone 4, have to wait until February to upgrade :( I'm on a plan with other lines, so my bill is not tiny; however I'm an add-on so I guess my share of the bill is small.
seconded! GV SMS Extension makes using GV seamless. Even better, I can switch between native texting and GV texting and still use the same app.
That was my first thought when I saw this article: someone is getting rich of off other peoples' need for privacy. Genius!
I've experienced this problem in Firefox (with Adblock Plus). It doesn't allow me to click any links, but a refresh usually fixes it.
I use MiniKeePass, and it can open from dropbox fine. If you want to edit on your iPhone it supports that too, thought the workflow might be a bit odd (open Dropbox, load .kdbx, 'Open in' MiniKeePass, make changes, 'Open in' Dropbox from minikeepass )

That sounds different than what is happening to me. Since I only have the portable version on my computer, I have no problem finding the correct .exe to tell Windows to use. After more Googling, I've found others with my problem and a potential solution: [answers.microsoft.com] .
thanks for the reply. I did point at the executable, which I would expect to work with no issues, but that has not been the case. I had an issue week or two ago installing LibreOffice where it apparently didn't register something in the registry (according to some theories I read online) and I was again unable to use…
Does this (or another program) allow non-installed (portable) programs to be the default "open with" application? I recently switched to running Notepad++ from my Dropbox, to make it easier to keep all of my plugins and the program itself updated. Since it isn't installed, it hasn't done whatever registry mumbo-jumbo…

I was hoping this would get implemented. The problem is, with the hold time needed to make the menu pop up, it would be faster just to type out the extra 3 letters. If it would instantly pop up, I think it would be more useful.
Each time you update iOS versions, do a "restore" instead of an "update". It may take a little bit longer, but as long as you synced/backed up beforehand it will wipe out all of the jailbreak apps/data and put all of your data back on it. Then when you re-jailbreak, you can re-download the apps and tweaks you want.
I'll be buying this once there is a windows version!
Windows Live Mesh/SkyDrive seems like it could be a good photo backup solution. Most photos (discounting RAW files) are under the 50mb/file limitation, and 25gb will store thousands. I'm going to give that a try, it seems like a much better idea than clogging my dropbox with pictures.
