Xcode?

Did you even try Mac OS X Lion? They aren't forcing you to do anything, they are just providing alternate, more convenient methods of doing things.

I thought iOS was more efficient than Android. In Anandtech's battery tests, the iPhone 4 almost always lasts longer than the Android smartphones. The iPhone also achieves a similar SunSpider as the dual-core Android phones. I'm not attacking Android, I actually want my next phone to be an Android phone, but I'm

Thanks!

Could you please explain? I can't remember which file to edit.

Edit: I didn't see the replies...

That looks like how I make cookies :P

Yes, it would be useless. The phone service, push notifications, and iTunes syncing don't work. This doesn't actually activate anything, it just bypasses the activation screen.

I didn't even need TU cause I didn't get stuck in a recovery loop. That only happened to me when I reverted from 4.3.3 to 4.2.1.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm currently running 5.0 beta but I did downgrade to 4.3.3 before. I'm going to back to 4.3.3 again because I can't sync anything to the device.

I forgot to mention that you can't sync with iTunes either.

You only need to repeat the steps when you reboot.

I can't seem to open the multitasking bar or the notification center after doing this trick... I'm not sure why.

I've actually restored my iPhone 4 back to 4.3.3 from 5.0. The part that can't be downgraded is the baseband.

I did it and it worked well. The two major problems are that the phone does not work and you need to repeat the process every time you restart.

Actually, I could restore without the blobs because 4.3.3 is still being signed. If someone wants to try this method, they need to know that the phone service won't work and they will not be able to restart the phone without repeating the process.

I can't shift+click to update. When I try, it gives a 3002 error. Would shift+click restoring work as well?

The choppy, sometimes nonexistent, animations, excessive battery drain, and WiFi connection issues (I get 2 bars of WiFi but can't stream video at all) are really making me regret choosing the iPhone 4 over the Samsung Captivate.

Thank god, I thought that I was doing something wrong with my phone. I had my iPhone 4 replaced for a faulty home button a month ago and I updated it to 4.3.3. Every time I leave my phone on my desk with the WiFi on, 3G on, and cell data off, the battery drains about 2% every 10 minutes.
