I’m a brand new Overwatch player, but all of these games are the same. These exact issues arise in Paladins, FFXIV, and many others I’ve played. I’m one of the “rare” unicorn players that just wants to tank, or heal, as that’s where I get my enjoyment. It helps us win a lot of the time.

Nintendo is being extra Nintendoey this time around. I made a super smart decision to not buy a Wii-U. Another smart decision to not buy an initial 3DS, as they were destined to have 5003982 versions of it.

That’s such a horrible first year lineup for me that it might have single-handedly stopped me from purchasing this in year 1, Heather. I appreciate the info, but a $300+ tax tablet is not worth a new Zelda... then nothing else for months. A new Mario, then a multiplatform Sonic game I can buy on Steam.

I was suckered into buying ME1 and ME2 on Steam sale, foolishly thinking they would be identical to the ones I played on XB360.. and whew was I wrong. In order to get controller support, I’d need to manually mod system folders.

They’ve been sitting in my library, not downloaded ever since. I’ll be rebuying the trilogy…

What I’m disturbed by is that this father is just suddenly realizing this. Which is why it feels like a ploy for attention moreso than a concerned parent safeguarding his child from what he believes is archaic, harmful media.

As a long time Final Fantasy Fan in his early 30's.. I have to say I agree a bit. There is indeed a burnout on the tropes and samey-samey-ness that you’ve encountered in 20+ years of gaming or more. (Hell less, even)
