As soon as I read the headline I was waiting for him to trot out the “any building in the south is probably associated with some sort of racial crime” argument, despite having no comprehension of the larger significance of that comment.

I can only have a certain amount of sympathy for someone who willingly triggers themselves like this. There’s absolutely no way I can buy she didn’t know what the movie would entail, and she could just not watch it if it would have that much of an effect on her.
“Sebastian Lletget, fiancé and partner of six years to singer Becky G...”
We’re here for snark - not self reflection. How dare you!
Yeah I’m not one to side with conservatives, and I think them trying to turn this into an even bigger thing is ridiculous, but we can’t pin this one on them. Leftist twitter behaved basically in exactly the way that people constantly accuse leftists of behaving and turned this into a thing when it didn’t need to be…
Moving to the equator doesn’t seem like such a good idea.
I’d say the US is going to hell, the rest of the world seems to be (with some exceptions) moving forward.
Know what gives me rage? Articles as fucking videos.
One of the locations closing is in Union Station in DC. And that whole place has become a major shitshow since the start of the pandemic. And yes, I do blame the local politicians who have no plan for dealing with the homeless crisis beyond handing out tents and then sending the police to raid and dismantle…
Okay, but when I worked at a Starbucks in Santa Cruz like 20 years ago there were homeless people shitting on the floor of the bathroom and washing their clothes in the toilet. Guess who had to clean that up? The employees. Guess who successfully lobbied to close the bathroom to the public? The employees. Does that…
Bravo. A fantastic idea and article. Perfect for these times.
“In Men’s Health, Pratt also addressed the recent controversy around the Instagram post in which he praised his current wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, for giving him a “healthy daughter.””
All else aside, he’s right on this one. That was a deeply stupid “controversy.” Of course a person is happy that their kid was…
100% believable that these awful people would have a template ready, so they don’t have to type out the whole thing every time this happens...
I think you may be misunderstanding a bit how this stuff works. What we have here is a snippet of legally vetted description of the incident. What actually happened, in context, likely made someone feel uncomfortable (or objectified or threatened) enough that the people in the know saw it as a fireable offense.
No…
I prefer the “I don’t do squat.”
My dude thinks he’s as dangerous to “the establishment” as Jeffrey Epstein and is going to be “suicided”. Jussie, the only thing you were dangerous to was your career...
Hard to tell. I lost a lot of IQ points reading that.
I know you guys sometimes search for a good picture for the header, but...really? Aside from Ron Perlman and the concept of a “dark mentor,” most people are going to look at the title and the picture and go “Wait, is this about Robin and/or the Teen Titans?”
Thank you for the coverage of this story. I appreciate the nuance, and also how Dr. Walker maintains their goals of this research very clearly.
“Even juicier, on Monday Kardashian arrived in a city in which Page Six suggests only one other man, Pete Davidson, lives for WSJ. Magazine’s 11th annual Innovator Awards at the Museum of Modern Art for which she is an honoree.”
