I would not give them the dog back. “Losing” that dog and finding a way to get it to a loving family would be worth breaking the law. Dog is injured and you have bites from a possibly unvaccinated dog. They are responsible for providing proof of vaccination or paying for your shots. This is a nightmare. That poor old pup.

Sorry but these people clearly don’t care about their animal. Letting a farm dog roam free is one thing, but this is clearly a different situation, and one that is demonstrably unsafe.
