Just another thing- the suggestion that the title was not relevant; everything Todd says and does is the opposite of what anyone should do or say. It is a warning of the self-obsessed ignorant lifestyles that way too many % of the world live.

Daves Father did not kill Alice, Todd did. The show never really attempted to go for easy laughs, nor a cohesive political statement (although it does have one, it not cohesive, this is on purpose).
