I think it depends on the religion... Since some of the religions in GRRMs world have multiple gods (the seven) a specific god would suit, but many of the other religions have one or two - so death is part of their purview as well as all the other stuff. I do think that Arya saving them from burning was the reason for

Ill take that as meaning that you believe that your and your peers experiences are reflective of most everyone's experiences.

I dont write the books/show I just read/watch them.

You miss my point entirely.

But how can you ever know whether something would be enjoyable without having experienced it firsthand, exactly?

Doubtful. The air inside of the foam would have to be lighter, but there is no good way to get something like methane or helium in there (as the reaction happens).

yes but if someone spoils something before you are remotely involved in it (say you havent ever watched House) - it may lead you to never read/watch what you had originally intended, especially if you didnt like said ending (even not knowing anything leading up to it).

Or rather more importantly - knowing it may influence you to not ever see/consume said media to begin with.

Speculative BS I suppose is just BS by another name. Not all speculation is bad - but I was speaking to that subset which is wholly BS.

Yes, but the many faced god is depicted as the same deities of other religions in the House of Black and White - which is why they have idols for most of them (esp death related ones like the Stranger of the Seven).

Im not saying that so much. I mean to say that if you really hope to change the opinions of the irrational (or outright ignorant) - your efforts will almost always be hopeless, regardless of the validity of your argument.

It may be from something... I dont know. It seemed poignant - so there it was.

I said usually... A good answer almost always comes with good qualifier, you know?

Thats not what the article is about at all (ie not answering shit). Its about answering questions by pulling untruth or speculation from your ass. I do my best to know the bounds of my knowledge (sometimes I doubt things that I do in fact know - but i dont find out with a bit of cursory research), and everyone should.

Sometimes the only way to win is just choosing not to play.

I think that is purposeful... He says the red god - because the 3 that were spared were going to burn. The god that is worshipped in the House of Black and White seems more to be an amalgam of all gods, so it may make sense in that more specific context.

The maegi tells her that she will never bear children after she uses her blood magic - and then miscarries some dragon monster baby. She doesnt KNOW she is barren, but she certainly seems to think that its the case - as the maegi was right about everything else.

I dont remember that, but it could be true... I figured that maybe the (literal) pig shit will be used in lieu of the chain perhaps to dam up the river?

The lack of weasel soup was more disappointing I think. Still love the show, but some of the departures dont really make sense (that one might for budgetary purposes, but others just make the characters look like idiots for no apparent reason - ie Jon Snow's Ygritte adventure).

Integrity fosters loyalty... Ned was well-loved by many, even commoners in King's Landing. Having the peoples' love is a big asset in a crazy world like Westeros, which is why Tyrion tries so hard (unsuccessfully) to gain the support of the people.
