Hmmmm... You are pretty off-base WRT the wildlings appearance... Ygritte should have definitely had a more "feral" look to her... While they may have been able to make combs GRRM makes it pretty clear that Ygritte didnt have one - as he describes her hair as wild and matted - nothing like it was in the show...

Theyre pirates (or reavers)... Not so much vikings... They are (generally) less interested in conquest - and more interested in booty.

She is like that in the book (mostly)... In the books she is only 14 (maybe 15 at this point) - so it makes more sense, but her TV character is clearly more adult - otherwise HBO might get into some legal troubles...

^omniscient is not the word you are looking for... None of them knows everything - and quite often people being unaware of what has happened elsewhere (and is thought to be "common knowledge") drives the story forward in interesting ways.

I fully expect a heartwarming farewell on The Colbert Report... If it werent for Sendak we wouldnt have I am a Pole and So Can You, which coincidentally comes out today...

My point is - if you thought that the whole alignment thing was completely inane - why click (and perhaps read?) the article which you think is entirely pointless? I actually like GoT and like reading weird tangential articles on the subject - so it kind of makes sense that I would end up here.

Them not saying "Avengers Assemble" ruined the whole movie for me, if only they had said it it would have been the perfect movie... without it life is meaningless.

There are certain bounds of reason though... Williams seems pretty close to the characters description. So long as they are close it shouldnt matter - ie you dont want the kind of small Topher Grace playing what should have been a hulking Eddie Brock in Spider-Man 3...

Captain's clearly on the cab - but they did a poor job with the cast shadow (and maybe his balance) so it looks like they just shopped him in there... Widow on the other hand... I have no fucking idea...

Petyr does a good job of appearing to comply with the rules, but breaks them whenever it may benefit (or entertain) him. Dont forget the whole Ned Stark betrayal scene... That couldnt be seen as anything but unlawful (broken promises - betraying the true successor etc.) esp. since Petyr knows that Joff isnt Roberts

We will be ok, so long as they never see The Cove

Pointillism is more correctly defined as divisionism (and that helps to apply it to other paintings that arent just "points" but different shaped strokes of isolated color). I also dont know that it has anything to do with your brain "averaging" out the two colors, but may be tied to some kind of "cone fatigue" (a al

No he doesnt... He breaks the law quite often (even in the show)... I also think that you are mistaking the word lawful here... Lawful (in the D&D sense) doesnt mean that he abides by the rule of law of the land, but that there is a rational system by which he makes his decisions... There's not - from a 3rd person's

Tywin knows that Tyrion is not an idiot... Tywin also knows that Cersei IS an idiot. That is why he appointed Tyrion - not so much because of Tywin's faith in Tyrion, moreso because of his LACK OF FAITH in Cersei. In that, it was certainly a shrewd move.

Also she spares Jaqen's life...

No... He has a great interest in sowing chaos/dischord in the book and the show. Definitely on the side of chaos/entropy.

Hmmmm... I dont know about Melisandre... She is doing all in service to her god (and to a greater prophecy which would ostensibly benefit all within the realm and without) - so she certainly thinks that she is doing good. I guess it just depends on if you worship the Old Gods, the Seven etc.

This is horribly problematic in that all of the evil characters would actually be on the chaotic side... All of them choose to do things according to their own whims or fancies (esp. Petyr) and not in accord with any system of rule or logic. You could definitely argue that Cersei is LESS chaotic than Joff - as she

Huh? Are you sure about that... I thought that "coming of age" was 16... If he were 17 he would have no need for Cersei as Queen Regent.

They already got your clicks, so they dont really give a shit what you have to say.
