You dont need a tradeshow for any of those purposes. Thats what test groups are for, and thats why some of them send out prototypes to industry experts and/or press - and it saves both parties lots of money on airfare, booth space, etc.

Except his legs are wrapping around the guys hand. Most wolf spiders I have seen arent much bigger (legspan-wise) than the circumference of a soda can. That ones body looks like it may be longer on its own than most I have seen including the legs. Really he is as wide body-wise as many I have seen are long.
