This is a very serious thing to say about someone, and the quotes...in this article do not support it.

Walsh got distracted by the realization that he’s handled ass pennies.
This is a strange argument. Apatow’s responsible for finding funny people to be in his movies, and for making sure those people behave professionally during the movies. Brand is very funny in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and none of the allegations here concern any conduct during the filming of an Apatow movie. I don’t…
I think people are missing some of the nuance here. Obviously, no one expects a comedian to tell the 100% truth during their sets. We know there’s a level of deception. But there’s a big difference between telling a fake story for a laugh and telling a fake story that hurts real people.
Yeah it’s a complex situation. I tend to think that we should just respect Priscilla’s experience, ironically it can be traumatizing in itself to have people project victim status onto you and rewrite what you feel is your truth. We should support people who are expressing that they were victimized or who are…
England has been known for its TERFs, yes, but this has to do with caution when it comes to the use of puberty blockers in children. I don’t find that to be a transphobic issue; I find it to be a medical issue that is now being reined in for further study by these countries. That’s what Murphey was addressing, not…
I have a grip, I just find it amusing that the term has become popular as some sort of shorthand for vaguely-defined (if at all) complaints about our economy. Try being a worker in the early 20th century.
You do know the term Late Stage Capitalism was coined more than 100 years ago, predicting the nigh end of capitalism as an economic system?
Gunn explained(?) that he “was never making a ‘young Superman’ movie, just a Superman movie,” which doesn’t answer the fan’s original question
Wait, how the fuck is Plant a hack? Dude’s a legendary rock vocalist.
Mine is the one about starting an adventure on an April morning.
The multiple sword origin stories highlights how there’s a multiplicity of Arthur traditions, many of which contradict one another. And none of it was resolved satisfactorily, even with the publication of Crisis on Infinite Camelots.
FFS, there was no “reveal” yesterday, no more than Art Bell’s callers “revealed” aliens. Until we see a body or a truly otherworldly piece of tech for ourselves, nothing happened yesterday that was any different from the family that swore they had a talking mongoose with human hands.
...yesterday’s whole alien reveal
an integral part of one of NASA’s most significant disclosures to date
Yep, this is a pretty horrible and indefensible write-up. Especially that headline too, making it sound like “It is what it is” is some sort of statement from the wife when its nothing more than an offhand comment from a third party describing the wifes experience of learning about everything.
I might not be as hip to the music of today as I used to be, but Billie Eilish I get 100%. She’s lightning in a bottle and I hope she’ll enjoy a long and successful career.
As someone who has done some terrible things before I got sober, I feel a lot of the behaviours are pretty similar to lots of people in active addiction (breaking and entering, the Vermont thing just sounded like the mom took her kids to a place where she could access more drugs, etc.)
Probably a minority view, but I thought Treat Williams not only should’ve been nominated for an Oscar for “Prince of the City”, he should’ve won. Great performance in a thoroughly depressing movie. “Hair” is his best film (damn, that movie is underrated), but “Prince of the City” is his best performance.
Prince of the City is excellent as well.
