Now, you’ll just have to write an essay on that film.  Just make sure it’s as good as this one.

I enjoyed this, but was “Pennies From Heaven” really a “genre parody?” I never thought of it as a parody of any kind, just a serious, beautiful experiment.

Yes, kids LOVE it when they get to - no, wait, I mean, are assigned to - associate kick-ass comic book movies with schoolwork!

This quick, elegant, and entertaining demonstration would be my rebuttal:

No, the one who interviewed her 9 times and headed the Yale-New Haven Hospital investigative team looking into the abuse charges.

I’m sneaking out the back right now!

You are correct. The only allegation is that during a custody dispute, he chose a prearranged day-visit in a house full of people to sexually assault his only victim, his daughter, for the first and only time, ignoring completely the claims by her older brother of physical and mental abuse by the mother, not to

The vast majority of people who use those drugs are not addicted to them. This is simply a fact. Pure heroin, when dosed properly, is much less harmful to the body than alcohol. Of course, since heroin is illegal, more people continue to die from impurities and overdoses.

The adverse health effects stemming from the prohibition of those drugs (violence, imprisonment, not to mention the official corruption) are much worse than those of the drugs, themselves.

Congrats, Will. I’m always impressed and entertained by your interviews, but it must be really special to get appreciated like that by someone who’s been interviewed countless times. Especially THAT someone (I’m a fan).

He’s been writing and producing comedy for over 50 years and is considered by most comedic professionals to be one of the funniest people alive. His appearances on Norm MacDonald’s and Gilbert Gottfried’s podcasts are amazing.

I like the original more than the remake.

I think the reason some great actors don’t use the method is because their personalities don’t require it or respond well to it. Different actors have to use different ways of getting the right performance, because they all have their own, distinct personalities.

What are Larry David’s political beliefs? And how do you define “a handful?”

I think you just answered your question as to why someone would make a movie like this.

I see what you’re saying, but I still don’t know believe that -all- “employers, investors, landlords” are the “enemy.” While there are certainly terrible, exploitative people in those categories, there are, just as certainly, good employers who pay good wages to grateful employees. There are good investors who put

See, I knew I was pushing it, there, trying to ask a real question. Well, good luck with your holy war on all people who are “rich,” (what does that mean? who cares! there is outrage and hyperbole to be had!).

I think it depends on how you define “rich.” I’ll be lucky if I ever make more than $35,000/yr, but to most people in the world, that’s “rich.” How much must one be worth in order to be placed on your “enemies list?”

Strange to point this out, since it’s so obvious, but I didn’t compare you to those people for acknowledging that there’s something wrong with the terrible economic inequities suffered in society. I compared you to those people because your response to the idea that we shouldn’t judge people as enemies without knowing

If you think every rich person has a boot on your throat, then I think you have problems that are more personal and immediate than income equality in society.
