I speak on behalf of all men when i say we’re dumb as fuck
Weirdly, there’s also a fair bit of overlap between Tate supporters and pro-Russian tankies. Although in retrospect, maybe it isn’t that weird since Tate-like misogynist assholes also have a hard on for Putin’s “leading like a real man” or whatever bullshit they wish to pander in that regard.
Yes, one adjustment they could make is adjusting to the idea that they can’t have profits which grow endlessly year on year...
Yeah, and if you just pretend the story in Wildlands is a satire ala Team America, where the americans are gonna liberate the smelly brown country with some good ol’ freedom, it works quite well. I mean it’s honestly pretty hard not to read it that way already: it’s so up the ass of the american exceptionalism concept…
I think that particular problem belongs in the category “Don’t care. Go fuck yourself. Gotta get back to work.”
It’s crazy that they sort of, set the stage. They created Giant Bomb and started doing things no one else was really doing (that now everyone does). They sold to CBS in 2012, Patreon didn’t start until 2013. I imagine things would be quite different if they had remained around to get themselves to the Patreon days.
Bully with decades long history of bullying probably still bullying
Bill Murray has always struck me as a totally awesome person to be around when he wants to be a totally awesome person to be around, and a complete and total nightmare when he doesn’t.
It does not seem extremely likely to me they shut down production of a multi million dollar movie over him snapping at a production assistant.
Bill Murray has always struck me as kind of a jerk but he's also been in so many good things that people are willing to look past them. Glad the post metoo system is sort of working here
When you understand that this person is in the middle of the pyramid scheme and desperately needs new suckers to come aboard so they can pass the lit bomb off, these posts make so much sense.
Whenever somebody tells me that “deFi is the future,” I point out that in the 1800s, we had banks issuing their own currency backed with gold and that system had all of the exact same problems the crypto industry is running into. “deFi” is past with processors and math poorly glued onto it like a kid attaching googly…
I never thought I’d have to read this line and reflect on it as being more than a non-sequitur.
> Digital colonialism
No worries. I just liked the joke of dismissing all games pre 2022-ish as “not so good.”
that’s exactly what I was thinking
“here are the things we will give you without a fight, just please don’t unionize.”
“Well I’m gonna unionize even harder”
They should go full union anyway. You never trust a company this morally bankrupt anything. This affects the bottom line or money in their pockets and no executive wants that.
I’ve cleared it with the fists more than any weapon, it pretty much always boiled down to spamming dash-strike back and forth across the map
