I was indeed using ghoulish overemphasis for the sake of parody.

In recent months I’ve been researching effective team management and communication strategies in preparation for a career change, and this letter is a really fine example of the type of communication that makes people believe in their work and treat their coworkers as family.

One of the only silver linings in all of this chaos is that there may be some long needed changes being made to some of our most antiquated and drakonian laws, concerning things like paid sick leave, ISP’s and their data caps, and Healthcare.

Being “rewarded” with a chance to win gifts from a raffle system where tickets are “paid” via mandatory extra hours is the premise of a Black Mirror episode that has yet to be written.

How badly did it hurt when this girl talking made your dick fall off?

Mate, let me make this absolutely clear to you: YES. It is absolutely, black-and-white, wrong to disagree with her, not because of who she is, but because she is just the current focal point of a discussion with all of our lives at stake. Global warming IS real, and it IS going to kill us all if we don’t do something

I do know of minorities in high positions of power

Gen X only gets confused for Boomers because most of them ended up resembling their awful parents pretty powerfully as they got older.

Spot on analysis.

Very well written so how I'll save your reply, to copy n paste it to someone in the future. You don't mind right

+1

I do not personally know any TTRPG players who actually care about perfectly balanced dice and I’ve been DMing for almost 20 years. They exist sure, if you go on amazon and look at dice, you’ll find reviews of people who’ve actually evaluated sets for accuracy, but we’re talking a really marginal case here.

Really dude? Even when I prefaced my comment by saying they’re not equal, you’re gonna come back like I was?

Know who else doesn’t give a shit about rules or contracts or fair play? China.

I’ve no doubt he meant what he said, but what he said wasn’t an apology for what Blizzard actually did wrong. What Blizzard did was suppress pro-democratic speech in order to exert the political will of an oppressive authoritarian regime because they value Chinese money more than American ideals.

This is different than most things people might be mad about in that it’s within Blizzard’s power to completely fix things. Just give everyone their jobs back. The quality or existence of the apology is irrelevant. This is like stealing someone’s dog and apologizing, but not giving the dog back. Like he said, it’s

If you think this was a good apology, you’re going to have your mind blown when someone gives you an actual, sincere apology, one day.

It reeks of “We’ll say we’re sorry, but we won’t actually do anything to change and address the core issue.”

I have a strong suspicion those actions are “release Diablo IV and hope you all shut up about this”.
