This and the other Dragon Quest XI post yesterday really show how nice the different bits of story in the game can be. While most of the individual episodes didn’t really add much to the main story, they added so much just being there.

I remember my father taping The Stand. For reasons I can’t recall we were using a VCR that had a wired remote. He trimmed out all the commercials so the mini-series fit on a single tape.

A friend of mine worked at some computer shows in the late 90s. Whatever weekends he worked he would get picked up in a van with whatever wares they had to sell, drive 4 hours to New York City, and do their thing.

I would certainly tell people to watch A Place Further Than The Universe, but that laptop scene towards the end drove me to tesrs.

I wanna say i saw it was hitting Netflix on Christmas.  Could be wrong.

I really recommend giving Gintama a shot, though maybe wait until the Gorilla actually finishes.

I caught bits of Days of Future Past on TV this weekend, and I almost want to say Magneto said Emma, along with a bunch of other names, was dead. But I also haven’t seen any of the Xmen movies in their entirety since Wolverine Origins.

I would hate to see a Black Widow or Hawkeye solo movie, but I would love to see a prequel film with the two of them. Widow as the focus and Hawkeye as back-up/comedy relief. They are decent characters, I just don’t think either one could carry a movie. That being said, I think Widow would be the more interesting…

Woo. I used to play that at the skating rink when we had school trips there. Then later they got TMNT.

I did not, though there’s a good chance M*A*S*H Goes to Maine is still in my old man’s cellar. I remember seeing it years ago, along with a tattered copy of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

If I remember correctly it was to raise money for Ho Jon to go to school.  They were selling pictures of Trapper as Jesus.

Chester was one celebrity death that kinda hit hard. I hadn’t even given their latest album more than a scan thru at the time, but still damn.
