Yeah...so as incredibly fucked up as this is, apparently, that dumb show is till supposedly on the table.  I mean there hasn’t been any real buzz about it for awhile, so I’m hoping they’ll just quietly kill it, but for the moment it still is technically a possibility.

Dany did say before the scene that the offer was political theater. They just wanted to show the population that Cersei was offered a peaceful end to the conflict  

From ships bbbing in the sea, no less.  Even granting the ironborns’ natural gift for fighting on the water, this is a bit much.

I don’t think Tyrion thought Cersei would abdicate; it was about the optics of making Cersei publicly own her choice. What he didn’t anticipate was her using Missandei, their only high-status hostage, like this...which given her history is dumb.

It’s less mistakes in war strategy (last episode took the award for that) and more where the fuck did Euron’s fleet come from? On a clear day at sea level you can see to the horizon. On top of that, Dany was airborne, increasing the distance she could see monumentally. Somehow Euron’s ships were just... there.

He and Theon’s deaths were beautiful.  They both got exactly what they needed.  Jorah defending his Queen and could see how much she cared for him, Theon being reassured he was a good man and a Stark.  I loved both.
